Tim was born July 26, 1936 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Ivan and Melvina (Poffenbarger) Caskey. He grew up in Council Bluffs, and attended Bloomer and Washington schools and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School.
At the Council Bluffs Nonpareil newspaper, Tim went from paper carrier to route supervisor, to selling and laying out grocery and auto ads. In 1962 he joined Hinky Dinky's advertising department. In 1983 he moved to Fremont to open a Champion Auto store, which he retired from in 1997.
Tim enjoyed classic cars, teaching Bible classes, and working with boys and girls in the Awana club (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2nd Timothy 2:15). He served on the advisory boards for Skyline Manor in Omaha, KGBI-FM radio station, and Champion Auto Inc. He was also a Gideon.
On November 1, 1958, Tim was married to Gladys Robbins.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
There will be visitation for family and friends at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont on Wednesday (Aug. 31st) from 3 to 8 PM and a graveside service Thursday morning (Sept. 1st) at 9:30 AM at the Hooper Cemetery in Hooper, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to the Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Awana Ministries.
