Brinkley peacefully passed away on September 26, 2011. We miss her greatly and our hearts are broken. Five years was not enough time for Brinkley to share all the love in her heart. Brinkley accomplished so many things in her time on earth and yet there was so much more for her to do. In our minds, we see Brinkley bossing Porter around, playing with her best friend Mallory laughing and giggling while doing the simplest of things, going to Preschool at Church, excited to spend time with her friends. We want you to remember her like this; curious and aware, smiling and feisty, knowing exactly what she wants. There will never be a day that goes by that we will not think of our daughter. If you see us, sharing a memory will only help remind us that Brinkley lives on. We are so grateful that through Brinkley so many close friends and family have become closer and so many new friends have become part of our lives. We will miss Brinkley, with all our hearts, and she will never be forgotten. At her memorial service please honor her spirit be wearing gray for brain cancer awareness or pink in memory of Brinkley. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make donations to some of Brinkley's favorite organizations: First Lutheran Church, The Cure Starts Now, and Make-A-Wish.
