"I will miss the wonderful talks Jack and I had. If it wasn't politics, fishing, and gardening, it still was interesting. Jack's advice about gardening gave me a nice garden rather than nothing growing. He was always in a good mood and a joy to be with. He will truly be missed."

"To: Beverly, Linda (Steve), Sheryl (Keith), Marsha (Jim), Joy (Don), Kenny (Judy) and extended family and friends... it's with a heavy heart I heard of Jack's passing. It's been some time since I've had a chance to visit with Jack and Bev, but I have many fond memories of 1981-82 when I was in the U.S. Army Reserves, assigned to the unit in Fremont, and used to come up one weekend a month and stay with them when I had "drill". What wonderful conversations we had and they were always such gracious hosts. It was a wonderful phase in my life where I had the opportunity to get to know my cousins and I've looked back over the years with fond memories of those times. I've had few chances to really come back for visits with Jack & Bev, but anytime we were together, laughter and great conversation were enjoyed by all. While our hearts hurt at the separation we now feel here on earth, there's such tremendous peace in knowing we who love Jesus will be reunited in heaven with our new bodies without blemish or corruption, together with Jack and so many loved ones, as we praise and worship our God for all of eternity! May God's love, grace, mercy and peace that passes all understanding flow down upon you now in your time of mourning.
Iva (Thayer) Grahek, First Cousin"
