Fae was born November 3, 1931 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Charles and Louise (Nolting) Noakes . She grew up in Grand Island where she graduated from high school in 1949. She worked in the office for International Harvester in Grand Island.

On December 18, 1953, Fae was married in Grand Island to David Menck. They have lived in several different communities in Nebraska due to David's employment with the telephone company. They have been residents of Fremont since 1971.

Fae was a stay at home mom, raising their 3 daughters. After their daughters graduated from high school, Fae was employed at Valmont for a few years.

Fae had been a volunteer with the Low Income Ministry and with Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Arbor Vitae Chapter 92 Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

3 sisters - Donna and husband Dee Rockwell of Grand Island
Norma Todsen of Ord
Evelyn and husband Dick Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.

There will be memorial service, 2 PM Tuesday (Oct. 18th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Leland Foreman officiating. There is no visitation, however friends may sign the register book after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
