Clinton R. Shurigar, age72, of Fremont
Died Friday, June 8, 2018 at Fremont Health
Clinton was born June 21, 1945 in Bellevue, Nebraska to Wilson and Mary 'Phillips' Shurigar. He was raised in Kenesaw, Nebraska and graduated from Kenesaw High School then Kearney State College. He taught in Scribner, Nebraska for a short time. Clinton started a custom harvest business then bought a farm near North Platte and farmed there until moving to Fremont in 2012. He married Kathy Robart Muller on February 14, 1969.
Clinton was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. One of his greatest passions was golf, he was a member of the Elkhorn Valley Golf Club and was fortunate to attend The Masters golf tournament this year.

Children – Robin (significant other Melanie) Muller of St. Petersburg, FL.

7 grandchildren – Ben, Liz, Will and Anne Bachmann
Shalee, Bryan and Bailey Shurigar
2 great grandchildren – Hunter Brezenski and Garret Shurigar
2 brothers – John (Sharon) Shurigar of Denver, CO.
Steve (Julie) Shurigar of Holstein
Sister – Glenda Shurigar of Hastings
2 brothers-in-law – Jim (Vicky) Robart of Fremont

The funeral service will be 11am, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Anthony Gerber will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Scribner Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be Friday from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Dodge County Humane Society.
