Virginia A. Poeschl, 85, of Elkhorn, Nebraska passed away April 20, 2018.
Virginia was born September 9, 1932, daughter of John and Ruth Shemat in Wisner, Nebraska. Virginia graduated from Bancroft High School in 1949.
On June 17, 1951, Virginia married Ivan L. Poeschl at the Presbyterian Church in Bancroft. She was a former member of United Methodist Church in Fremont and Bella Vista, Arkansas.
Virginia is survived by sons Rod (Laurie) of Greeley, Colorado; Randy (Cindy) of Elkhorn; and Rick (Jackie) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; grandchildren Lindsey, Nikki Barrios (Junior), Emily, Jessica (Jordan Stange), Kelcie, Ben, and Danny; great-grandchildren Wyatt Benson, McKenna Benson, Tyler Benson, Braden Barrios, Brynn Barrios, and Calvin Stange; and sister Helen Fischer of Harlan, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Poeschl; parents John and Ruth Shemat; brother Jack Shemat; and in-laws Louis and Edith Poeschl.
