Nancy L. Magnuson age 73, of Fremont
died Thursday February 15, 2018 at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Nancy was born February 14, 1945 in Fremont to Lee and Verlene (Bliss) Linder. She grew up in Fremont, graduating from high school in 1963. She also graduated from the Omaha Technical High School of Practical Nursing in 1966.
She had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 8 years Memorial Hospital of Dodge County Annex (now Dunklau Gardens), 14 years at Arbor Manor, and also at the Life Care Center of Elkhorn.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher from approximately 1974 until the beginning of this year, and the church clerk beginning in 1974.
On June 12, 1970, Nancy was married to Wayne Magnuson. He survives, along with their son Don (and wife Crystal) Magnuson of Norfolk and grandchildren Coralyn and Cale, and brother Jim Linder of Omaha.
Preceding her in death was her son Jon, and sister Carole Linder.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church (9th & Bell Streets) with Rev. Philip Schmidt. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to her church and American Cancer Society. Visitation at Ludvigsen Mortuary will be Tuesday 3 to 8 PM, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
