Ermagene B. Ellison, 90, of Fremont,
died Friday, February 2, 2018 in Dunklau Gardens, Fremont.
She was born to William and Zelpha (Howell) Kortum on February 11, 1927 in Dodge, Nebraska. She lived with her family also in Schuyler, Nebraska and Merrill, Oregon before coming to Fremont. Ermagene
graduated from Fremont High School in 1945.
On December 13, 1946 she was married to Dale W. Ellison in Washington, Kansas, and they made their home in Fremont. Ermagene was a stay at home mom, raising the children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale in June of 2017, and by a brother and 3 sisters.
Survivors: son – Todd Ellison, Fremont
daughter – Heidi (Jeff) Fiscus, Newnan, Georgia
4 grandchildren – Mikala and T.J. Ellison and Jacob and Emily Fiscus
Ermagene was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Chip Borgstadt. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ludvigsen Mortuary on Tuesday, 3 to 7 PM. Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church.
