"Juanita was the aunt of my friend Toni, my dog had followed me to Toni's one day when I went to visit. The dog ran off and Juanita took me in her car to look for the dog, can't remember if we found it or not but I will always remember how kind she was to a little girl who was worried about her dog. "Mrs Carrier was my 3rd grade teacher Modale, 1975 or so. I remember her being very strict, you were almost scared of her! But if you have ever asked me, she was my most favorite and unforgetable teacher and i remember her so fondly. And she was one teacher who also taught my dad, so i know she had many Neills in her class! My sympathies go out to her family, She was much loved and respected. "Mrs Carrier was the scariest and the most caring teacher I ever knew. You didn't want to disappoint her,or goof off in her class. (although she had a great sense of humor and often turned a blind eye to some of our silliness) If you were every bullied, hurt or needed your button sewed on, she was the one to go to. She was the "Mother Hen" that everyone wanted to please and looked to for guidance or comfort. She was tough, but fair and she taught me many more things then the three R's. She will be sorely missed by many."
