"I was shocked when my sister Lisa called me to tell me about Brad. My heart just stopped. I've known Brad since he was a little kid because Brian and Donna are my best friends. "Sorry for your loss, I wanted to let you know how greatful I was of Brad giving my son and I a ride home when our car broke down. He was so kind and instead of making us wait in the over 100 degree temp for a taxi to pick us up he generously offered us a ride. The taxi was already twenty minutes late and without a hesitation he offered us a ride home saving us from the horrible heat. I have seen him around town in his tow truck and I always made it a point to wave regardless if he remembered us or not. Thanks Brad!! You were a great asset to Fremont and you will be greatly missed even by complete strangers. Rest in Peace."

"I was saddened when I learned of Brads passing. A couple years ago I was seeing more of Brad than I had wanted considering he was driving a tow truck, and I had a van that kept breaking down. The first time I met Brad, I had my children with me, all very curious as how the truck worked and asked a million questions. When I told them to please let the guy do his job, I remember his smile and him telling me, no its ok..he then went on to explain how the truck worked, and why he did certain things this way instead of that. For 2 boys this was the best day ever. I saw Brad a couple times over the next few weeks, and we cracked jokes about my so called " fixed" vehicle. Every time Brad was smiling, polite, and personable. I just wanted to relay this story to you, so that you knew how how much Brad touched other lives around him, and that people noticed. I send my condolences to your family."

"Life can be described in many ways. Sardonic, mundane, trivial and cynical. Brad was never a party to any of these descriptions in the years I knew him. He might have owned and operated a towing service, and his purpose was to be a provider for his loved ones, however, he would have labored just as hard to save somebody a dollar before charging that person a dollar. Other people have provided testimony as to the smile he possessed , and the caring personality he always carried. For me, Brad will always serve as the perfect example of professionalism. He might not have recognized this, for I am sure he was far too humble, but people perceive others for moment to moment actions and interactions. The lasting testament to Brad's legacy, however tragic the ending, will be a life full of smiles and a sense of trust, gained only by that first impression of a soul only trying to help others in need.
