Marjorie was born October 18, 1932 at Nickerson, Nebraska to Gilbert and Marian (Langhorst) Ruwe. He early years were lived in the Nickerson & Fontanelle area. She came to Fremont with her parents in the 1940's, and
graduated from Fremont High School in 1950. She graduated from Midland College (Midland University) with a teaching degree and taught for a couple of years in Lincoln.

On April 30, 1957, Marjorie was married to Max N. Kitzelman. They lived in Canada briefly, where Max played football and was a teacher. When they returned to the United States, they went to Auburn, Nebraska and then to Nebraska City before coming to Fremont in 1961 where Max was with Midland College. He taught, coached football and wrestling, and was athletic director. Later, Marjorie was a para-professional at Davenport Elementary School.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she had been active in many of the church's organizations and activities. She was also a volunteer at the Fremont Area Medical Center in the Look-Nook.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Max in October of 2006, and by a son Rex, a daughter-in-law Teri, and 2 sisters.

The funeral service will be 11 AM Monday (January 16th) at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church.

Visitation at Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, will be on Sunday (January 15th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family present from 5 to 7 PM.
