Died Saturday March 18, 2017 at Dunklau Gardens
David was born September 22, 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa to Desota and Henrietta 'Weidemann' Raab. He was raised in Omaha. After his schooling he served in the United States Coast Guard from 1970 to 1974. David moved to Fremont around 1985. He had worked for Oil Gear. David was an avid bowler, bowling in leagues at Plaza Lanes.
Survivors:
Daughter – Jessica (fiancee' Dylan Springgate) Raab of Fremont
Grandson – Hayden Springgate
Sister – Diana (Merle) Ivey of Omaha
David was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
The funeral will be 11am Wednesday, March 22 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with flag presentation by the Fremont Honor Guard. Visitation will begin at 9am on Wednesday until service time. Burial will be at a later date in the Omaha National Cemetery.
