Floyd F. Huffman, 68, of Fremont
died Thursday evening, March 9th, 2017 in Dunklau Gardens, Fremont.

He was born in Fremont on December 11, 1948 to Floyd and Lorene (Bricker) Huffman. He grew up in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School. Active in the Boy Scouts, he had received the God and Country Award and was an Eagle Scout. He briefly was in the US Army. During his working career, he had worked for several area electrical contractors. He had also worked for Oilgear.

Floyd had a passion for the outdoors and loved camping. He also liked the water, at one time having a sailboat and then a cabin cruiser. He rebuilt a 3 wheel Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. He was formerly a member of the First Christian Church where he served as a deacon.

Survivors: son – Brent (Stacey) Huffman of Fremont
daughter – Holly (Jim) Davis of Fremont
7 grandchildren
great grandchild
sister Florene (Bill) Schauer of Lincoln
He was preceded in death by a son, Cory.

There will be a graveside committal service 11 AM Monday (March 13th) in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Monday morning beginning at 9:30 to 10:45
