"Arden, I remember all the birthday parties the sisters and brothers of the Stalling families. The young kids would got to the movie in Scribner while the rest of the families would visit and play cards, and talk German. My grandmother was Meta Stalling vonSeggern and we would drive to Scribner to visit her brothers Herman Stalling, Henry Stalling, and her sister Aunt Katie and the rest of the families. So many wonderful memories from long ago."
