Peggy was born July 15, 1939 in Weeksbury, Kentucky to Holley and Hulda 'Bartley' Yonts. She was raised in Ashland, Kentucky. Peggy lived in the Ashland area until she married Richard C. Arthur and they moved to Nebraska in the early 1980's. Peggy and Richard divorced. Peggy later married Albert E Vopalensky.

Peggy was preceded in death by a son Richard C. Arthur, her parents and 13 brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be 7pm Monday February 6 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Tom Shaw will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 7pm also at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
