Frances M. Tucker, age85, of Nickerson
died Sunday evening, July 10th, in Nye Pointe, Fremont.
Frances was born to John and Anna (Reker) Grogan on December 9, 1930 in Fremont where she grew up. On July 24, 1948, Frances was married in Fremont to Robert M. Tucker. Frances had been a resident of Nickerson since 1957.
She had worked for 25 years for the Nickerson Market. During the 1990's, she worked for the Country Store at Nickerson.
Frances was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle. She helped organize the Nickerson Fireman's Auxiliary and was the president for several years.
Survivors – 2 daughters – Nancy and husband Edwin Frey Fremont

Frances was preceded by her husband Robert in December of 1997, a grandson, a great grandson, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday (July 15, 2016) in the Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle. The committal will be in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Nickerson Fire Dept. and Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle. Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
