Carrol was born November 24, 1930 in Scribner to William A. and Louise 'Feye' Moseman Sr. He was raised on the family farm near Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School in 1948. After high school he farmed with his older brother until going into the service. Carrol served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. In 1952 Carrol married Patricia 'Peach' Rasmussen in Scribner and after his military service he returned and the couple moved to a farm east of Winslow. He continued to farm until 2006 when he retired and they moved into Hooper.
Carrol was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Winslow, Lutheran Laymen's League, VFW Post 10535 of Hooper, and was a co-founding member of the Elkhorn Valley Shooting Club in Uehling. Carrol was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and garden.

Brother - Donald (Carolyn) Moseman of Baldwin City, KS.
Sister-in-law - Helen Moseman of Iowa
nieces and nephews including his caretakers, nieces Cyndi (Stan Rowe) Moseman of Uehling and Karen (LaVern) White of Scribner.
Family was very important to him especially his great niece Stacia Hoffart of Firestone, Co., great nephew Tyler (Nikki) Moseman of Omaha and their families.
Carrol was preceded in death by his wife Peach on December 8, 2011; his parents; 3 brothers Bill, Vernon, and Dean Moseman and Nephews Steve and Bill Moseman.
The funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Winslow. The Rev. Jonathan Ripke will officiate. Visitation will be at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel on Friday from 3pm to 8pm with the family from 6pm to 8pm. Memorials are suggested to the Elkhorn Valley Shooting Club and Immanuel Lutheran Church. The committal will be 2pm on Saturday at the Scribner Cemetery with Military Honors by VFW Post 10535 and American Legion Post 18 both of Hooper.
