He was born to Merwin and Connie (Adams) Long in Fremont on July 28, 1968. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School.

For several years, he was employed by 3M in Valley. In 1998, he moved to Colorado where he lived for a couple years, then returned to this area and worked for various companies. Because of his health, he left his job with HyVee in Lincoln.

Christopher was married to Barbara Jean Davis and they had two daughters. They were later divorced. He married Anne Crawford, and she survives him.

He had been attending Metropolitan Community College working towards a degree in graphic design. Christopher enjoyed bowling.

2 daughters - Amanda Long and Deborah Long, both of Fremont
parents - Merwin and Connie Long of Fremont
brother - William Long of Fremont

The funeral service will be 2 PM Friday (March 2nd) in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to his daughter Amanda.

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Thursday (March 1st) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family present from 6 to 8 PM.
