Barbara Redmon, age 71, of Fremont,
died Friday (June 26, 2015) in her home.
Barbara was born November 25, 1943 in Genoa, Nebraska to Fairon 'Ted' and Mildred (Harper) Anderson. She moved with her family to Clay Center, Kansas in 1955 where she lived a few years. She has been a longtime resident of Fremont.
For many of her working years she was a seamstress. She made choir robes, robes for judges, and she sewed for many area businesses that had uniform shirts for their employees.
Barbara was a member of the Fremont Alliance Church.
She is survived by an uncle Roger Anderson of Genoa, and cousins, and close friends in Fremont that have been her support system.
There will be a memorial service at 11 AM Thursday at the Fremont Alliance Church. The committal will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Genoa. There is no visitation. Ludvigsen Mortuary is assisting the family.
