Mona J. Johnson, age 70, of Fremont,
died Saturday, Febr. 28, 2015 in the Pathfinder House, Fremont.
Mona was born in Fremont on October 15, 1944 to Elton and Mary (Olsen) Penner. Following graduation from Fremont High School, she began working for Western Electric, which later became Lucent Technology. She retired after 31 years there.
Mona had been married to Donald Duane Johnson, and they later divorced.
Survivors: son - Michael and wife Theresa Johnson of Fremont
daughter – Terri and husband David Apanian of Cumming, Georgia

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. The committal will be later in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Wednesday, 3 to 8 PM, with the family present from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Dodge County Humane Society.
